Hello families!
I apologize for not getting to post yesterday, but as this kiddos know I had a wonderful surprise at the end of the day from visiting family. They popped into the classroom to say hello and see our fabulous learning! I was so surprised, and as the grade 1's know, I had the biggest smile on my face! They made me so proud!
We started our day yesterday with our regular classroom routines of calendar and RAP. Pleae remember to practise the RAP for next weeks Respect Assembly! Afterwards we read one of my FAVOURITE books, "Where The Wild Things Are" and followed up by watching it as a movie. We then worked in our Media Booklets to compare and contrast the book vs. the movie. This was really tricky, and we work together to brainstorm a few ideas, and then tried to add our own ideas independently.
Class 1-5 had music with Ms. Konopka, and class 1-6 worked on a special activity that will be shared next week!
Notes: Please remember to complete your sharing book for the letter O. Also, please practise the RAP from this week! :)
Wishing everyone a fabulous weekend!
Mrs. Reid
